Telecom giant Ooredoo Maldives signed an agreement with Guesthouse Maldives to provide Information Technology and Telecommunications assistance to guesthouses.
Ooredoo’s CEO Vikram Sinha and Guesthouse Maldives’ President Ahmed Karam signed the contract on Thursday.
Speaking after the signing ceremony, CEO Sinha acknowledged the spread of guesthouse industry across the archipelago, praising its transcendence into a great business model. He declared that Ooredoo will provide IT and telecommunications aid to guesthouses in collaboration with top companies of the field.
He added that Ooredoo will also lower the rates of services supplied to guesthouses in a move to aid the guesthouse industry’s progress and success.
Guesthouse Maldives’ President Karam expressed optimism about the prospect of IT and telecom services to be provided by Ooredoo. He also announced plans to enter into similar agreements with companies of other sectors to secure a wider range of services to guesthouses.
